Victoria works as our Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Services Manager. She joined our team in 2021 having come from the UK where she had been working as a nurse, predominantly in the specialities of critical care and then pain management, for over 21 years. She has undertaken specific post-registration training and held several senior/specialist posts in these fields of practice.
Victoria obtained her Bachelors Degree in Nursing, and her Post Graduate Diploma in Professional Practice from the University of Surrey, UK, and her Masters Degree in Clinical Practice from the University of West London, UK. She holds nursing registration in both the UK and Australia, with endorsements as a non-medical prescriber in the UK, and as a Nurse Practitioner here in Australia.
Victoria is a member of the British Pain Society, Australian Pain Society, International Association for the Study of Pain, and the Australian College of Nurse Practitioners.
Victoria plays a key role in teaching patients within our service about pain management, as well as providing teaching and education to referrers in the community. She has a passion for excellence and the delivery of high-quality and timely care for patients and works closely with Specialists, GP’s, Allied Health Professionals, and hospitals to deliver this. Victoria’s special interests are in the clinical governance, risk management and service improvement aspects of her senior role within the practices.
