Following an undergraduate degree in Medical Science at the University of Sydney, Dr Berenger completed her medical training at Griffith University in QLD in 2009. She returned to NSW and worked as a junior doctor at Prince of Wales Hospital and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
Subsequently, she qualified as a general practitioner and, following completion, undertook further advanced training in pain medicine, with a special focus on interventional treatments, at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and the Michael J Cousins Pain Management and Research Centre at Royal North Shore Hospital. Dr Berenger also works locally as a Staff Specialist in Pain Medicine at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
Her clinical interests include musculoskeletal pain, persistent pain after surgery or injury and complex regional pain syndrome.
